The Filling Network Is Increasingly Observational, Tesla Disposing Of Supercharger Charging Prices

JAKARTA - Tesla is rumored to have lowered prices for EV charging in its Superchargers in many areas as its charging business has begun to be a little more mature.

This news came from a Twitter user with the account name @BLKMDL3 as well as a Tesla owner in California who said Tesla reduced the cost of a 5-cent/kWh Supercharger cheaper than before.

"It seems that Tesla is cutting the price of supercharging in LA and parts of California! Some 5-cent/kWh superchargers (IDR 7 thousand) are cheaper at the peak that is increasing! Some superchargers are indeed increasing due to their peak prices," wrote the account, which was discovered by Electrek.

After several price increases over the past year, now many Supercharger stations charge 5 cents per kWh, which can result in only US$30 (Rp467 thousand) to charge up to 60 kWh.

Earlier this year, there were reports in which Tesla announced a massive increase in Supercharger prices in Europe, mainly due to the energy crisis, and then in North America, especially in California. However, Tesla is now lowering its price.

Several price reductions were also found in European territory. There even the decline was more significant with prices falling by 0.10 US dollars (Rp 1.5 thousand) per kWh.

Tesla's charging business is indeed fairly mature. This is evident from the number of Tesla Superchargers which now reach 40,000 charging networks worldwide.

In addition, Tesla has also started developing its superchargers to all electric cars other than the Tesla brand. Now, non-Tesla superchargers have spread across 15 regions in Europe, and will continue into North America.
