He added that Twitter must fight information manipulation within the framework of the 2018 law that requires it to cooperate with Arcom.
Arcom said it had asked Twitter in writing to confirm that it could fulfill its legal obligations, particularly to ensure effective moderation of content and illegal or malicious practices while ensuring respect for user rights, including freedom of expression.
Twitter is expected to respond no later than November 24.
