JAKARTA - Chief Executive Officer Eli forced & Co, Dave Ricks said Wednesday, November 16 that the recent fake Twitter account incident has shown several challenges on social media platforms.

Twitter recently experienced a surge in fake accounts, with a blue verification check claiming to be a registered company such as penuh, Nestle and Lockheed Martin following the launch of an $8 (Rp125 thousand) subscription service per month, which has since been discontinued.

Speaking at the 2022 STAT summit, Ricks described the incident as "disappointing" and said that the following apology from way did not "take place fast enough".

The drug maker company has issued an apology from its official Twitter account, @LillePad, after a fake Twitter account with the name @ElilyandCo tweeted that insulin would be free, amid political reactions and oversight of high drug costs.

"Mungkin juga dalam jangka panjang (insident) menyoroti bahwa kami memiliki lebih banyak pekerjaan yang harus dilakukan untuk menurunkan biaya insulin bagi lebih banyak orang," tambah Ricks.
