Ahead of the 17th G20 Summit in Bali, Telkomsel launched the G20 Connect service, an informative application platform that presents the latest developments from the Indonesian presidency at the event.

"Through the G20 Connect application, (hopefully) it will become a hub for any information on a series of activities from the Indonesian presidency at the G20. The G20 Connect can provide convenience and comfort, as well as digital experience for all delegates in accessing the latest various information and series of G20 activities," said Telkomsel's Director of Information Technology, Bharat Alva in his statement, Wednesday, November 9.

Bharat explained, the G20 Connect comes with various features that provide complete information, where this application can be accessed by delegates, all operator users, and the wider community.

The features include the Schedule, Event Details, and Venue Details features providing various information about the timing, venue, and topic of activities carried out in the G20 series of events.

In addition, there are also Latest News and Gallery features that present the latest information about Indonesia's presidency at the G20 as well as activities carried out, through articles, images, and videos formats. The G20 Connect also published press releases that could be a reference for the media in loading news around the G20 2022.

This application also provides Content Hosting features that raise a number of excellent applications made by Indonesians in various fields, such as e-commerce, ride-hailing, streaming service, to health & wellness. Then there is the Tour Destination feature to explore various natural beautys in Indonesia, the uniqueness of local culture, to exciting holiday activities in Indonesia.

The presence of the G0 Connect App is also fully supported by the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kemenkominfo). This application can be downloaded on the Play Store and App Store.

Previously, Telkomsel had also optimized the capacity and quality of the 4G/LTE network and expanded the coverage of 5G networks in a number of areas that held the 2022 G20 activities, including the peak of the G20 Summit which took place in Bali from 15 to 16 November.

"Telkomsel ensures that the G20 Connect application can be a trusted center of information around the G20 2022 and always update thanks to collaborations carried out with various parties, especially together with the government as the main source of every information presented," said Bharat.
