JAKARTA - The implementation of Analog Switch Off (ASO) in Jabodetabek has been successfully implemented on November 2. That way, the national television broadcast industry has entered a new era through migration of analog broadcasts to digital TV.

Johnny asked the Central KPI and Regional KPI to ensure and maintain that content in digital TV broadcasts is in line with the rules, and in accordance with Indonesian culture and culture.

The Minister of Communication and Information also invited the entire community and organizers of multiplexing (MUX) as television companies to remain optimistic in the success of the ASO program.

"We must continue to build optimism, we build public trust and belief. Don't let us just stop in a debate that has no end and then the energy that we waste," he said.

Central KPI chairman Agung Suprio explained the duties and functions of the quasi institution in supervising digital content in line with the implementation of digital television broadcast services.

"Currently we are monitoring that one television is still monitored by four people, one person works for 6 hours (in a day). What if the number of TVs reaches above 30 TVs? This is a challenge for KPI," he said.

In order to ensure that the supervision system runs well, KPI relies on complaints from the public. According to Agung, if there is content that is not in accordance with community culture, it will immediately be processed according to the complaints received.

In addition, the Central KPI is also exploring several parties both inside and outside to monitor content or digital broadcasts based on artificial intelligence.

"So one tool can monitor a lot of content on television, later we will consult with the Minister of Communication and Information as well as with Commission I of the DPR regarding the budget because this is not a small amount. Thus, we can monitor effectively, efficiently, and accurately," he concluded.
