JAKARTA - The decline in the crypto market makes it a difficult storm to deal with both investors and businesses in this industry. However, according to new data, this case does not stop women from becoming bullish in the crypto business.

A new survey conducted by BlockFi, crypto trading platform and investment, has asked women across the United States about their views and participation in the crypto industry between September 2021 and March 2022.

According to the findings, one in 10 women chose crypto as their first investment, with 17% of whom were Millennial generation female investors and 11% Generation Z. The findings even reveal that of women surveyed, 7% of Generation X, which included individuals born between 1965 and 1980, reported crypto as their first investment.

However, as previously revealed, more education and clarity are needed around space to make investors feel safe and confident in their investments.

The survey highlights that while most women surveyed (81%) have heard of cryptocurrencies, 77% still see it as a risky investment.

Despite the obstacles, both market and educational, many women still see a place for themselves in this industry. More than one in five (22%) say they have the intention to buy crypto next year.
