JAKARTA - The cellphone manufacturer from China, OPPO has a myriad of new patents for its products. One of them is a smartphone design with a 15x zoom hybrid camera.

Citing the LetsGoDigital report, Guangdong OPPO Mobile Telecommunications filed a patent for this new smartphone design in July 2020. However, it was only approved in early November.

Based on the patent documents, this OPPO smartphone design includes a curved display on the sides. Then use an OLED screen panel with a punch-hole design as a front camera place.

There are three camera modules arranged horizontally on the back. The original sketch lacks any text, but is based on a 3D render by Concept Creator Jermaine Smit, including the words '15X ZOOM' under the LED flash.

This means that based on patent documents, this phone supports shooting up to 15x hybrid zoom. Even so, there is no complete information regarding the further specifications regarding what lens to use.

This phone will also feature an under-screen fingerprint scanner (fingerprint on-display). Furthermore, the current design is only a patent and it is not certain when OPPO was produced.
