JAKARTA - British actor Sir Anthony Hopkins has sold out his first NFT collection "The Eternal Collection" in less than 10 minutes.

The collection, created in partnership with Orange Comet Inc, a design agency focused on NFT and Web3, features 1000 original cinematic artworks inspired by various performances in the actor's long career.

According to a description of the collection at OpenSea, the work "conceptualizes the interpretation of the large character archetype that Sir Anthony Hopkins has described during his famous film career, attracting his strong energy from his stimulating body of art."

Visual and creative animation with names like, The Jester, The Lover, The Regular, The Rebel, The Giver, and The Eternal respectively represent various basic patterns characters played throughout the career of Hollywood actors.

NFT, and Web3-focused design agency Orange Comet Inc. alleged that the sale of the collection was the fastest in OpenSea's history, although Cointelegraph was unable to confirm the claim before it was published.

The famous actor thanked the NFT community in a tweet stating that he still doesn't believe the news about the sale of the collection.

A total of 990 unique one-of-one NFT images come with randomly selected utilities ranging from receiving signatured dreamscapes artwork books featuring paintings and images of actors, to intimate discussions with Anthony Hopkins via zoom, and personalized NFT random choices with messages from Hopkins airdrop into their wallets.

The project tweeted that this is the fastest-selling NFT collection on OpenSea, but has not been able to verify the accuracy of these claims before publication.
