JAKARTA - London Police said they had arrested a 17-year-old teenager linked to the mastermind of a hack on Thursday, September 23 last night.

"The London City Police arrested a 17-year-old teenager in Oxfordshire on suspicion of hacking, as part of an investigation backed by the National Cybercrime Unit (NCCU)," London Police wrote on Twitter.

However, at that time, it was not clear whether the hack was related to a video clip of Rockstar's GTA 6 gameplay or not. However, according to TechSpot, one of the Reuters journalists confirmed that the crime was related to the Rockstar Games incident and Uber Technologies as well.

The unnamed 17-year-old is suspected of being a member of a hacker group known as Lapsus$. The hacker group is known to have targeted companies including Nvidia, Microsoft Corp, and Okta Inc, an authentication service company relies on by thousands of large businesses.

Furthermore, Keys also said that the police would carry out further notices regarding the details of the incident along with statements from the FBI.

Hingga saat ini, polisi belum mengungkapkan rincian penangkapan. Karena tersangka masih minora, pejabat London memutuskan untuk memutuskan namanya sampai mereka mendapat izin hukum.

This arrest led to a GTAForums username "thetapotuhacker" posting more than 90 video clips and screenshots of the next GTA project gameplay that is still under development.

The incident comes days after a hacker with the name "teapot2022" exposed 57 million Uber customer records. Uber later confirmed that the two accounts were the same person, who broke into Lapsus$ hackers.
