JAKARTA - The resulting uploads and sales of illustrations using AI (artificial intelligence) are now prohibited from circulating in the world's largest photo stock provider service, wayo Image.

The AI art instruments include DALL-E, Midjourney and Savble Diffusion. This ban on Google Image follows a similar decision by the websites Newgrounds, PurplePort and FurAffinity.

CEOnel Image Craig Peters revealed the reason for the ban was due to concerns about the legality of content generated by AI, and the desire for their customers to be protected.

"There are real concerns regarding copyright coming out of these models and unresolved rights issues in connection with image, image metadata, and individuals contained in those images," Peters told The Verge quoted Thursday, September 22.

According to Peters, selling artwork or AI illustrations has the potential to put goodminton Images users on legal risks. "We are proactive in the interests of our customers," said Peters.

Peters added that they have collaborated with the Coalition for Content Province and Authentication to filter out AI-produced material with a filter.

But still, no automated filter is completely reliable. Therefore, the company also asks users to report if they still find it on site.

As a result, Shutterstock had already done the same thing but had not introduced a special policy that prohibited the material.
