Due to this ambition, Amazon has signed an agreement for Amazon to acquire Cloostermans, as a designer and manufacturer of Belgium-based mebronical solutions.

"As we continue to build on next-generation workplace technology, we are excited to have signed an agreement for Amazon to acquire Cloostermans," Amazon wrote in an announcement on its official website.

According to the company, by focusing deep experience of Cloostermans in engineering, machinery and robotics, Amazon will more quickly implement solutions at work to improve safety in the workplace, and also help reduce packaged waste.

" Amazon's investment in robotics and technology supports the way we build a better and safer workplace for our employees and give it to our customers," said Ian Simpson, vice president of Global Robotics on Amazon.

Simpson hopes that by continuing to expand and accelerate the robotics system and the technology implemented in the company will be able to welcome the Cloostermans to Amazon and prepare to see what can build together.

We are delighted to join Amazon's family and expand the impact we can have on a global scale. Amazon has raised standards on how supply chain technology can benefit employees and customers, and we look forward to being part of the next chapter of this innovation," said Frederik Berckmoes-Joos, CEO of Cloostermans.
