JAKARTA - Cloudflare, a company providing content delivery networks, DDoS prevention, and Internet security blocks all access to Kiwifarms from Sunday, September 4.

"Visitors to one of the Kiwifarms sites using one of the Cloudflare services will see Cloudflare block pages and links to this post," Cloudflare CEO Matthew Prince said in his blog.

In a statement, Prince said that Kiwifarms is a "direct threat to human life," citing an increase in "targeted threats" over the past two days.

This concern about Kiwifarms grew after YouTuber transgender and streamer Twitch, Clara Sorrenti (Keffals), became the target of a dangerous harassment campaign by users from the site.

Citing The Verge, last month, Kiwifarms users launched a blow attack on Sorranti, also known as an act of providing false tips to police that someone was planning to commit a violent crime, which resulted in the police crowding the victim's house.

Sorenti then hid and started the #DropKiwifarms campaign urging Cloudflare to stop serving Kiwifarms.

At first, sajaflare rejected the pressure. Because as a security service provider for Kiwifarms, it was a abuse of power.

However, in the end Cloudflare decided to block it. Not because of the pressure that is crowded on social media, but because the activity of site users is getting more aggressive.

"Kiwifarms can move their sites to other providers and, by doing that, back online, but we've taken steps to block their content from being accessed through our infrastructure," Prince added.

Cloudflare has also coordinated with law enforcement to address some threats on the site, but they claim that the process is moving slower than the increased risk.

In the update, Cloudflare said it was not blocking the site because of a campaign on social media asking them to stop Kiwifarms.
