JAKARTA - Meta will eventually build a customer service division, which will help users who have complaints about their accounts.

According to a report from Bloomberg via Engadget, the absence of customer service is one of the problems that has plagued users for a long time.

This Meta plan comes at least due to encouragement from its Supervisory Board which asks Meta to be more transparent in communicating to its users.

Customer service is one of the important divisions owned by all companies. Because customer service will really help complaints from consumers.

Especially on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram. Many users are confused as to why their account disappeared, whether it was hacked or suspended.

By contacting customer service, we will know why our account disappeared and what to do clearly.

Even though Meta already has this plan in mind, it's definitely still in its early stages and don't know when it will come. But at least, Facebook and Instagram users will have a place to complain later.

The company did not share specifics about how the customer service division would operate or would be eligible for assistance.

Recently, Meta Platforms Inc has also finally reached the settlement of a lawsuit worth US$37.5 million (Rp557 billion) from the plaintiffs who accused the Facebook parent of violating users' privacy by tracking their movements through their smartphones without permission.
