JAKARTA - OPPO Indonesia inaugurated its second OPPO Gallery at Gandaria City Ground Floor on Monday, August 8.

OPPO Indonesia's Chief Marketing Officer, Patrick Owen said that this Galley was the first showroom that puts technology exploration ahead of transaction services and after-sales products.

For this second Gallery, Patrick added, that the company is collaborating with the ROH Project. "We believe innovation, technology will be useful and have a big impact if it is carried out in collaboration with many parties," he said in a statement.

This collaboration between OPPO Indonesia and the ROH Project was made by Bagus Pandega with the title A Pervasive Rhythm (Green). A Pervasive Rhythm (Green) is an interactive work on the concept of human relations which now tends to be more intense through digital media.

What's more, post-COVID-19 human relations are increasingly distant because conversations and meetings often take place in virtual spaces, and smartphones are the most frequently used devices as a medium of communication today.

This work consists of 1250 digitally programmed panel lights. The lights then display an animation of the human eye, which can be seen more clearly when using a smartphone camera. Through this gesture, we seem to be able to see a direct comparison between our reality and the digital reality that is looking back.

"We hope that with this new concept, OPPO Gallery can be a means to support and develop the creativity of OPPO lovers as well as technology and art lovers," added Patrick.
