Muslim Tretan Until Arie Kriting Was Hit By Terror After Joining #BlokirKominfo Spaces On Twitter

JAKARTA - It doesn't stop here, the drama Blokir Kominfo is still the topic of many people's conversations. The Kominfo Blocking hashtag has also returned to trending topics on Twitter after it disappeared a few hours ago.

Previously, on July 30, the Ministry of Communication and Information blocked several sites. Starting from Steam, Epic Games, Yahoo, PayPal, Dota, Counter Strike, Xandr.com, and Origin (EA).

As one of the protests against this step by Kominfo, Teguh Aprianto as a cybersecurity consultant and Founder of Ethical Hacker Indonesia held Spaces on Twitter.

"The first session was heard by more than 14 thousand listeners while the space was in progress, the recorded version was listened to more than 67 thousand times. Then the second session which took place last night was heard by more than 27 thousand listeners while the space was in progress and the recorded version has been listened to more than 115,000 times ," said Teguh on Facebook.

But the sad thing is, Teguh continued, that after the spaces were completed, digital attacks and terrors emerged through WhatsApp which targeted several people as a result of this #BlokirKominfo.

As of Monday, August 1, Teguh noted that 10 people have been affected by terror, including well-known names such as Tretan Muslim (Stand Up Comedian), Arie Kriting (Stand Up Comedian), Eno Bening (Content Creator), and Dustin Tiffani (Comedian). The most surprising thing is, one of the 10 terror victims is still 14 years old.

Spaces, which has been conducted twice, discussed the public's fear of Permenkominfo No. 5 of 2020, where Teguh said that the Permen could be a new weapon that the government would use to repress its people.

"There are too many problems related to this regulation, both from the legal side and also from the technical side of its messy implementation," he explained.

Teguh and the speakers at Spaces #BlokirKominfo session 2 including researchers and legal practitioners from the LBH Indonesia Foundation, LBH Jakarta, SAFEnet and a good friend of mine, Bang Arie Eleison encouraged the public to continue voicing the #BlokirKominfo action in a legal way before any action from the Ministry of Communications and Informatics.
