JAKARTA - Google will roll out new features into its Chromebooks over the next few months. Google notes that the new features and applications that are presented will help your creativity and productivity.

The new tool launched is the ability of Google Photos to edit videos directly in the app, without the need for third-party apps.

In Google Photos built into your Chromebook, you can now easily edit your video from start to finish. Then, Google Photos' search capabilities make it easy for you to select and arrange photos and clips in the order you want.

Like other video editor apps, you can crop, add, filter contrast and brightness there.

"And for professional-grade video editing, the LumaFusion app is also coming to Chromebooks. This video editor lets you add graphics, visual effects, transitions and distortions, audio tracks and sound effects, narration, color grading, and more," Google said in its announcement. .

In addition to editing capabilities in Google Photos, you can now edit PDF files directly in the Gallery app, the Chromebook's default app. That way, you can fill out forms, highlight text, sign documents, and add text annotations right in the Gallery app.

Then, anyone can now use the Screencast app to record, view, and share transcribed videos and presentations, be it virtual lessons or instructional videos or demos.

"And of course, when it's time to go back to school or get work done after a long summer break, Google Workspace apps like Docs, Calendar, Meet, and Chat are already on Chromebooks," the company wrote.
