JAKARTA - The developer of the much-anticipated co-op shooter, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide has decided to postpone its release schedule.

This news was delivered directly by the CEO of Fatshark, Martin Wahlund on Twitter. He said that Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, which was originally scheduled for release on September 13, will be delayed until November 30 for PC.

"Today, we've decided to postpone the release of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide until November 30 for PC," Wahlund said, Thursday, July 28.

Wahlund also added, the launch of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide Xbox Series X/S version will follow soon after the release of the PC version.

The exact date of the launch is not yet clear, but he did mention that a specific date will be shared in the future.

"Postponing a game is probably one of the toughest decisions developers face and one we don't like. Still, we hope it speaks to our commitment to taking the time it takes and doing whatever it takes to get you the best game possible," he explained.

It seems, Fatshark team still needs more time to improve stability, performance, and also to mature the key system, in order to provide the best experience to the players.

The good news is that Fatshark will be holding beta testing before the game actually launches. If you wish to participate, you can register for the opportunity at darktide.live/signup.
