Twitter Launches Feature To Create Audio Spaces Clips To All Its Users On Android And IOS

JAKARTA - Twitter introduced a new feature that allows users to share short audio clips from Twitter Spaces on iOS and Android apps.

This widespread feature launch was previously carried out by the company on a small scale in March.

At the time, the ability to crop Space and clip it was only available to a small number of users on iOS, and it was limited to Space hosts rather than any participant.

The reason, Twitter revealed at the time how easy it is for listeners with bad intentions to take clips and spread them in a malicious way on Twitter. So they need more time before releasing it in full.

But it looks like the test is going well, the company said that yesterday's test test of the feature was a success and will roll out the feature globally to anyone on Android and iOS.

This means that not only the host can create audio clips from Spaces, but the participants can too. They can create clips that have an expiration date of 30 days.

Unfortunately, this feature is not available to Twitter web users. Even so, Twitter says they are on their way to rolling out support on the web.

This clip feature was created to make it easier for Twitter users to share content on the platform. You can let other people catch a glimpse of a conversation in Spaces without having to listen to it live.

To make a clip is quite easy. First you need to go to someone's Space > Click the Scissors icon at the bottom, parallel to the mic on icon, and add a tweet > Next, an audio preview will appear, when it's done, select Next > you can upload the tweet clip.
