JAKARTA - After 30 years of being the most popular soccer game, FIFA 23 is the final FIFA series from Electronic Arts (EA), after breaking its partnership with FIFA a few months ago.

After revealing female soccer player Sam Kerr to be the first female athlete to be on the cover of an international FIFA game and appear in the Ultimate Edition of FIFA 23, along with Kylian Mbappé, EA has shared more details on FIFA 23.

FIFA 23 will finally be released on September 30 this year. This final FIFA series is here for PlayStation 4 and 5 with 1-v-1 crossplay mode between versions.

"FIFA 23 delivers innovation never before seen in the world of football video games, whether you're on the field or behind the scenes making decisions in career mode," said De'Angelo Epps, PlayStation Blog Correspondent in the announcement.

FIFA 23 will feature physical and graphic improvements. Not only that, as proof of why FIFA 23 is called “The World's Game.” is, for the first time in FIFA 23 you can play women's soccer clubs including the women's FIFA World Cup.

According to EA, one of FIFA 23's main focuses is making it the most authentic entry in the series ever. Because of this, EA has developed the HyperMotion 2 motion capture system to make players appear more alive than ever.

The data captured with this system brings more than 6,000 realistic animations from real match captures to the game. In FIFA 23, players can feel the sensation of running, kicking and blocking with very real motion.

Moreover, EA brings several features created by its technology, namely showing augmented reality broadcast replays, making the game more immersive.

Not only is the movement of the players more real, the atmosphere on the pitch also receives an upgrade, where you will experience playing with cheers and singing.

"The FIFA Men's World Cup Qatar 2022 and the FIFA Women's World Cup Australia and New Zealand 2023 are all here for you," EA wrote.
