This product ensures secure interactions between IoT and other devices as well as the security of data transferred through these interactions thanks to KasperskyOS' presence in the gateway core and network attack protection capabilities.

With this product, users operating smart city systems, including utilities, street lighting, and road infrastructure or in manufacturing or energy production and distribution projects, can get a secure IoT system and visibility to all connected devices. .

Shield from Network Attacks and Gateway Threats

The new Kaspersky IoT Secure Gateway 1000 is a hardware device with firmware based on KasperskyOS and Advantech UTX-3117. This product ensures the security of the entire IoT system at the gateway level thanks to its secure-by-design approach and built-in protection capabilities.

In addition, this gateway provides protection to enterprises from network attacks, D-DoS attacks or Man-in-the-Middle attacks, through a firewall that uses the Default Deny principle. That way, only approved network interactions can pass through the gateway. In addition, the Intrusion Detection and Intrusion Prevention (IDS/IPS) module will instantly detect and block malicious activities.

KasperskyOS, which is at the core of the gateway, makes this gateway immune to almost all attacks. This operating system has a microkernel that minimizes the risk of vulnerabilities and reduces the attack surface through just a few thousand lines of code.

The security goals of this product have been defined from the start, so the Kaspersky IoT Secure Gateway 1000 is secure from design (secure-by-design).

Secure boot and update technology ensures the authenticity and integrity of these firmware and gateway updates. Secure boot blocks firmware upload when the gateway is corrupted or changed without permission. Secure update ensures that only true updates from trusted sources can be uploaded to the device.

Kaspersky IoT Secure Gateway 1000 helps network admins maintain visibility and control over the network. This product shows all devices connected to the network and then detects and classifies new devices just one minute after connecting.
