JAKARTA - The government will begin the transition to changes in the sales and purchase system of people's bulk cooking oil (MGCR) using the PeduliLindung application starting in July.

From 27 June until the next two weeks, the government has been busy conducting socialization to the public about purchasing bulk cooking oil using PeduliLindung or using an ID card.

For those of you who are still confused about how to buy bulk cooking oil using the PeduliLindung application or KTP, here's how:

Buy People's Bulk Cooking Oil Using KTP (NIK) Come to a retail store that sells people's bulk cooking oil (MGCR). Show your ID card to the seller. The seller will record the NIK listed on the ID card. Buyers can get people's bulk cooking oil with a maximum purchase quota of 10 kilograms per NIK per day. Buy People's Bulk Cooking Oil Using PeduliLindung Application Come directly to a retail store that sells people's bulk cooking oil (MGCR). Open the PeduliLindung application on your smartphone. Scan the QR Code displayed at the retail store. Show the results of the QR Code scan in the PeduliLindung application.

If the results of the QR Code scan are green, then residents can buy people's bulk cooking oil (MGCR). However, if the result is red, then the residents cannot buy the people's bulk cooking oil.

Purchases of MGCR at the consumer level will be limited to a maximum of 10 kilograms (kg) for one NIK per day and guaranteed to be obtained at the highest retail price, which is IDR 14,000 per liter or IDR 15,500 per kg.
