At Facebook, the company has been testing a new sidebar that lists your group name and recent activity in it, such as new posts or new chats you haven't seen.

Also, now you can pin (pin) your favorite groups so that the group will be at the very top of the tab. You can also create your own group.

In the new menu later, you're also safe to see things like events, shops, and various channels to make it easier for you to connect with others around topics you're interested in. For example, if you are in a gaming group, you will know what game matches will be taking place, through the group.

Community chat channels, which manage group message threads around topics relevant to specific groups in real-time on Facebook Groups and Messenger.

Meta is testing Community audio channels where members in groups can enter and exit audio chats in real-time, much like Discord.

Finally, the Community feed channel where you can view related community suggestions. Admins can organize their communities around topics in the group so members can connect with more specific interests.
