Wo Long tells where you will slash warlords and demons with a new combat system based on Chinese martial arts.
In an exclusive interview with IGN, Team Ninja Studio confirmed that Wo Long will carry the Soulslike concept just like NioH. Reportedly, they have applied this concept since Wo Long was first developed.
Soulslike is an evolution of the RPG genre that offers a super high level of difficulty as the main attraction.
“As a studio, we've always been known for games that challenge players, but that can't be done without responsive controls and high playability. In that respect, Wo Long is no different from our previous titles, but this time we have turned to Chinese martial arts as a new fighting style," explained producer Fumihiko Yasuda, quoted Wednesday, June 15.
Even so, Team Ninja will offer something new and will surely satisfy players with something not available in their previous titles.
