JAKARTA - After releasing a feature update to rename devices linked to business WhatsApp some time ago, WhatsApp is now rolling out the Do Not Disturb feature.

Launching WABetainfo, thanks to the WhatsApp beta update on iOS, WhatsApp now supports the iOS 15 API to help you detect when do not disturb mode is enabled in the WhatsApp beta for iOS.

It's easy like this, when you activate do not disturb mode, you will not receive notifications of incoming calls. Well, thanks to the iOS 15 Application Programming Interface (API), you will see a new label available in the call history.

From the screenshot seen on WABetainfo, the call label reads "Silence by Do Not Disturb" or "Call won due to Do Not Disturb mode". With it, you can tell that a call from someone has been silenced because you've activated Do Not Disturb mode.

This information is only stored in the local app database, so the information is not shared with WhatsApp or who is calling you. Also, please note that you need to be using WhatsApp on at least iOS 15 to support this feature, as this is an iOS 15 API.

The WhatsApp beta supporting the iOS 15 API is coming this week, and a new update planned to be released on the App Store will bring the feature to everyone.
