Through suggested posts, Instagram helps you discover something new. Suggested posts will appear in your feed after the most recent posts from people you follow.

Suggested posts usually appear based on posts from accounts you already follow as well as posts similar to the ones you liked or saved. However, this post is often annoying for some people, because it is considered too much and trash.

Can I permanently delete suggested posts from my Instagram?

Unfortunately, you can't permanently disable or hide all features or sections of suggested posts on Instagram. But you can hide any post that Instagram suggests, and send feedback that you don't like it.

However, according to a report from idownloadblog, it looks like Instagram is also working in certain regions to give you the option to snooze all suggested posts in your feed for 30 days.

How to stop Instagram from showing suggested posts

There's one thing you can do, and that's to mark a suggested post as "not interested" in the hopes that you won't see more like it. Here's how to delete sponsored Instagram posts:

Open the Instagram app and you will see Suggested Posts appear in your Feed. Tap the three-dot icon next to the suggested post. Tap Not Interested.

Or if you see a suggested post, you can hide it in the following ways:

Go to Instagram and sugar until you find a suggested post. Click the X button at the top right of the post. Then a reason will appear for you to hide the post. There are two options, namely “Don't suggest post related to @” and also the option “Snooze all suggest post in feed for 30 days”. You can choose one of the two options.
