JAKARTA - Daedalic Entertainment announced that The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will be available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Nintendo Switch version on September 1.
“We're excited to finally reveal the release date of the story-driven stealth adventure The Lord of the Rings: Gollum. Daedalic's take on one of the most iconic characters in fantasy history arrives on Steam on September 1, 2022," the developer announced.
Based on the game's description, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, based on the legendary Lord of the Rings trilogy by JRR Tolkien, recounts Gollum's experiences from behind the scenes in the first chapter of The Fellowship of the Ring.

Having lost his precious ring to Bilbo Baggins, Gollum decides to leave the Misty Mountains and embark on a perilous journey that takes him from the dungeons of Barad-dûr to the forest-elf realm of Mirkwood.
As Gollum, you must sneak, climb and use all his cunning to survive the dangers on his journey through Middle-earth. You also have to deal with his human side, Sméagol.
All the storyline in the game will be left to you, whether you want Gollum to have the upper hand when it comes to making important decisions or let Sméagol take over. Apart from that, you'll also meet famous characters from the book as well as some new faces.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum was developed by Daedalic Entertainment in an official partnership with Middle-earth Enterprises and co-published by Daedalic Entertainment and NACON.
The developer says that the Nintendo version of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will follow after its release on consoles and PC.
