JAKARTA - Diablo Immortal was previously scheduled to be released globally on June 2, but it seems that schedule will change. Diablo Immortal is an upcoming free-to-play game in the Diablo series, designed primarily for mobile devices.

This massively multiplayer online action role-playing game where players can gather on the same server to explore the open world and fight common enemies takes place between the events of Diablo II and Diablo III in 1270, after the Worldstone was destroyed.

The game was slated for a global release on June 2, but had to be postponed in the coming weeks in the Asia Pacific region.

The game developed by Blizzard will be released in Asia Pacific on June 23. On the other hand, a separate launch window has allowed Blizzard to further optimize the player experience by setting up game servers specifically for the region.

Players from Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand will be able to play the game on Windows, iOS, and Android, while Vietnamese players will be able to play the game on PC.

Diablo Immortal supports cross-play and cross-progress, which allows players to get a smooth transition between platforms and a large player base.

Diablo Immortal will launch on Windows PC, iOS and Android for Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macao, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand on June 23, while Vietnam will only receive the PC version on the same date.
