JAKARTA - Realme Indonesia ensures that all of its product lines are safe regarding IMEI matters. This is because some time ago there was news that the mobile IMEI management machine, namely the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR), was full.

"For the products we have launched to date, everything is safe. Because the IMEI has been registered at CEIR. So it is guaranteed to be safe," said Public Relations Manager Realme Indonesia, Krisva Angnieszca in a virtual launch session of Realme 7 Pro, Wednesday, October 14.

This woman who is familiarly called Vava also admits that she is big on Realme and always follows developments in government issues such as the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo) and the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) to facilitate the Realme business in Indonesia.

"If we follow the CEIR issue, we will certainly always follow developments. So we will always follow up on what the developments are like. And of course we also direct the team to always update the government (issues), especially from Kominfo to provide information about This CEIR, "explained Vava.

More than that, Vava explained that the other Realme product lines that will be launched next month and until the end of the year, had already been registered before this issue existed.

"For the next product, so far we are still on-track until the end of the year. Because we are also preparing well in advance. So until this year we are still safe. And for the next time we will definitely keep abreast of developments," said Vava. .

Vava has also prepared a solution if in the future there are customers who complain that their IMEI is not registered on the CEIR machine.

"We have informed our customer service team that if there is a customer who has this problem immediately contact our customer service. And for further action, maybe we will check the problem first. If it is because the IMEI is not registered, we will definitely there is a next step, "said Vava.

"And the next step depends on it, because we have to check (problems) first. You could say that so far we have not received any reports about IMEI problems that have not been registered in CEIR," added Vava.

Meanwhile, Marketing Director of Realme Indonesia Palson Yi also said the same thing, "Our products have no risk and none of our products are affected by this problem. Neither customer has submitted a complaint," said Palson.

As previously reported, the CEIR system was reportedly full so this had an impact which made the IMEI of the cellphone fail to enter. As a result, automatically the SIM Card cannot be activated and new cellphone data entered into the system also fails to get a signal, even though the gadget has legal status.
