Ministry Of Industry Develops Cooking Oil Distribution Monitoring And Tracking Technology

JAKARTA - The government has tried to handle the distribution of cooking oil which had experienced problems. For this reason, the Ministry of Industry builds an innovation by using technology to monitor production, tracking bulk cooking oil distribution, distribution distribution, as well as the latest distribution.

"This is to maintain transparency and accountability in program implementation, to be reported to the public," said Industry Minister Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita in Jakarta, Friday, April 22, quoted from Antara.

On that occasion, the Minister of Industry ensured that the payment of subsidized claims for subsidized bulk cooking oil could be carried out in accordance with applicable regulations by upholding the principles of accountability and prudence.

The Minister of Industry explained that the Bulk Cooking Oil Supply Program for Community, Micro, and Small Business Needs is one of the economic recovery efforts being carried out by the government.

The program aims to ensure the availability of cooking oil and maintain a stable price of bulk cooking oil that is affordable by the community as well as micro and small businesses.

The program is regulated through Permenperin No. 8 of 2022, which ensures that production, distribution and supervision can run as well as possible.

"We are targeting as many as 75 palm cooking oil industries to participate in this program, all of which can distribute according to a contract with the Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDPKS).
