MetaMask Crypto Wallet Users Complain With Connection Problems, Oops Because This Seems...

JAKARTA – The MetaMask digital asset storage wallet was reported to have been disrupted on Friday, April 22. Because Infura as the service provider used by MetaMask to retrieve information from the blockchain experienced a number of service outages.

It was recorded that ten components in Infura's service experienced massive blackouts. Not only that, the other five components also experienced similar problems. Responding to the problem of interference, MetaMask made an announcement through its official Twitter post.

“If you are currently experiencing problems with Metamask, it may be due to an outage that [Infura] is actively fighting against,” wrote MetaMask on April 22.

“We apologize for the disruption and inconvenience of service. Our team is working hard to resolve the incident," wrote Infura's official Twitter account.

MetaMask users on Reddit's discussion forums are buzzing about the topic of discussion. They asked if MetaMask might be down. In addition, they also criticized MetaMask and Infura for the massive blackout.

“If Metamask wants to use Infura by default, that's fine, but users should also automatically switch to a checked backup mix (so as not to overwhelm any of them) if Infura is down,” a Twitter user wrote on Friday.

In addition to the announcements of Metamask and Infura services, many other defi projects, companies and markets issued warnings. “[Infura] had a major crash, which affected things like Metamask using their RPC. So if you're having trouble with your atm wallet, maybe that's why,” NFT trading platform LooksRare commented.

Even so, until now Infura has not explained the problems experienced by its service. Because of this problem, MetaMask users have difficulty connecting their digital wallets with a number of gamefi webs and NFT marketplaces.
