JAKARTA - Transvision, a Trans Media company engaged in the subscription television sector, launched a new streaming service called CubMu on Wednesday, April 20.

CubMu (CUma Create kaMU) is a streaming service that allows you to watch any television program from Indonesia.

During its launch, the Managing Director of Transvision, Peter Gontha said that CubMu is a marketplace where users can find various kinds of shows, ranging from news, movies, sports, and so on. "We created an application that actually doesn't require a box, satellite, or anything. Only a cellphone or television is needed," said Peter.

Peter also revealed the reason for launching the CubMu service on April 20. "Because Saturday and Sunday are already homecoming. With CubMu, all travelers can find news when they are on their way," he explained.

But for now, the application is only available for Android. Peter said his party is still in the approval stage for launch at Apple. But don't worry, because Transvision promises CubMu will be coming to Apple soon.

For first-time users, you will get seven days of free service. You just need to register to take advantage of it.

CubMu will also add channels up to 200 channels gradually. One of the target markets is Indonesian citizens who are abroad.

"So, for those who want to see content or information in Indonesia, they just need to use this application," added Peter.

Besides watching live TV, you can also watch rebroadcasts of news or events from Trans Media. You can buy the basic package starting from only IDR 9,900.
