JAKARTA - The classic puzzle game, Myst gets a new lease on life. Myst Developer Cyan Inc. announced on Wednesday, April 6, that they had teamed up with Mighty Coconut to create a Myst-themed expansion for their latest VR game, Walkabout Mini Golf.

Downloadable Content (DLC) will be released later this year and will be available on Meta Quest, Steam VR and the upcoming VR platforms.

"We're excited to announce a new partnership with the great folks at Mighty Coconut to develop Walkabout Mini Golf: Myst- DLC for their game due out later this year!" wrote the company via Twitter.

The game will feature immersive gameplay, realistic physics and iconic settings that you will love to play. Walkabout Mini Golf: Myst will cover 8 courses, as well as collectible Myst golf balls, a special putter, and other new surprises.

Mighty Coconut states the expansion will be a 36-hole course with 18 easy holes and 18 hard-holes. It claims the DLC will blend realistic physics with "the iconic setting, objects, and enigmatic spirit of the Myst saga."

You'll be able to play through the Myst course alone or with up to four other players as you hunt for 18 missing balls, go on scavenger expeditions, and try to collect commemorative putters.

Myst, which was released in 1993 by brothers Rand and Robyn Miller and their video game company Cyan, Inc. Myst is the best-selling PC game of the 20th century. Players are asked to explore an island, solve puzzles and collect story pieces.
