"It is estimated that tens of thousands of people will crowd the 2022 MotoGP area in Mandalika, so that it has the potential to encourage a significant increase in communication service traffic," said Telkomsel Network Director Nuugroho, in a press statement, quoted on Saturday 19 March.

Telkomsel held their Hyper 5G commercial service as well as the Telkomsel 5G Experience exhibition in the Mandalika International Street Circuit area.

Reporting from Antara, this network is also used for the Telkomsel 5G Experience exhibition to demonstrate various uses of the latest generation of telecommunication radio networks.

At the exhibition, the cellular operator exhibited the Humanoid Robot, a robot that has human-like abilities. It can be used for various industries. The use of 5G is also demonstrated through Cloud Gaming, a low-latency MotoGP motorcycle racing game experience for smooth streaming.

Telkomsel also has examples of using 5G Drones for remote surveillance and Virtual Reality, devices that can be used to play online games, enjoy tours and simulate meetings remotely.

In the AR Industrial Work Instruction section, the mobile operator demonstrates the use of augmented reality in the industrial sector, for example for inspections or giving instructions remotely. AR can also be used for virtual and actual machine maintenance and repair in the automotive industry.
