Shirley Curry's 'Skyrim' Grandmother Gives Her Fans Worrying News

JAKARTA - Shirley Curry, or often referred to as Grandma Skyrim by her fans, is recovering from a stroke she suffered while sleeping.

Curry, from Ohio, USA, has been playing the game Skyrim on his YouTube channel starting in 2011. He has been sharing gameplay videos regularly with his many fans.

On February 28, Curry revealed to viewers that he suffered a stroke while sleeping. Along with the update, he also shared slightly worrying news to share about his health development with fans. The gamer's grandmother revealed that she forgot most of how to play Skyrim.

"Skyrim made me fit!!! My big game every day for years, and I woke up one morning and was mostly gone!!!" Curry wrote, quoted from Gamesradar. "This is a scary situation!!"

Fortunately, Curry confirmed that he had started his therapy after giving his audience an overview of what he had been up to since his stroke. Since then, he has been diligently uploading regularly some very uplifting content.

He revealed a gift from Bethesda which was some beautiful flowers. He showed off a bouquet of sunflowers, roses, and additional flower arrangements, and smiled at the camera.

"I am very proud of them, and very happy that they would do something like this for me." said Curry of Bethesda.

Currently, Grandma with more than 900K subscribers seems to be doing well despite the setbacks compared to before. In his latest vlog, which was posted on March 8, he appeared in high spirits when greeting the audience.

He smiled as he asked fans what they would like to see on his YouTube channel going forward as he waits for his memory to return. Here's hoping Granny Skyrim's recovery goes well and she's back in her favorite game world soon.
