OKX Crypto Trading Platform Officially Partners With Manchester City

JAKARTA – The OKX crypto exchange has joined a number of other digital asset platforms that are collaborating with the sports industry. It was recently reported that OKX has entered into a partnership with Premier League football giants Manchester City.

With this partnership, the company becomes the official crypto partner of the ManCity club. Forbes reports that the OKX logo will be displayed at the Etihad stadium and the club's academy stadium.

CryptoPotato explained that the deal was OKX's first attempt to penetrate the world of sports. The partnership includes the ManCity men's and women's soccer teams. It doesn't stop there, the partnership also covers the operations of esports clubs.

However, until now there has been no more detailed information regarding the value of the cooperation agreement, only it is stated that the partnership is an agreement lasting several years.

The club recently announced that it would build a replica of the Etihad stadium in the Metaverse. The plan is part of a partnership with Sony Corporation.

In addition, another crypto exchange that has penetrated the world of sports first is Crypto.com. The crypto trading platform has purchased the name rights to the LA Lakers' basketball club homebase under the name Crypto.com Arena. Meanwhile, the FTX platform has signed a $10 million deal to sponsor another NBA basketball club, the Golden State Warriors.
