JAKARTA - Netflix will launch its first interactive daily quiz show, Trivia Quest, on April 1. This show will be one of Netflix's ways to capture the audience's day around the world.

Daniel Calin and Vin Rubino of Sunday Sauce Productions developed a series of episodes that will be out every day in April. They will quiz viewers with 24 multiple-choice questions, around the arts and sciences, while connecting the show's narrative.

In this Trivia Quest event, you are meant to help the hero Willy save the people of Trivia Land from the villains.

While Trivia Quest may not offer tangible rewards, if you are not satisfied with the points you have accumulated, then you can replay the previous episode. This can allow you to get more points until the end of the quiz.

In the trailer released via Netflix's YouTube channel, Trivia Quest looks relatively easy, but the game will have standard questions and is quite difficult.

"Black Mirror: Bandersnatch" is the interactive content breakthrough on Netflix, which has been almost four years since its release. The creators of Black Mirror released the "Cat Burglar" cartoon on Netflix last week. By navigating trivia questions, asking the audience to help Rowdy Cat sneak past Peanut the Security Pup to steal a painting.

In addition, another interactive show for children from Netflix is "The Boss Baby: Get The Baby" which was released last September 2020. This interactive show asks the audience to escape the babies in the movie The Boss Baby from the villains.

Games and interactive content are a big part of Netflix's future strategy. "We're open to licensing, accessing big game IPs that people will recognize," Netflix COO Greg Peters told Makeuseof.

Netflix also recently acquired game studio Night School and has been developing games based on its own IP. Recently, the company acquired Next Games, the publisher of "Stranger Things" and "Walking Dead" games, for 72 million US dollars.
