Snapchat Makes It Easy For Users To Find Concerts And Buy Tickets On The App

JAKARTA - Snapchat is turning its social media into a place to find current and upcoming music events or concerts around a user's location.

Through the new Snapchat Map Layer, anyone can browse Ticketmaster's catalog of comedy shows, sporting events and concerts.

This new feature can be accessed on the Ticketmaster Mini tab within the app. Snap Mini is a third-party program built into the Snapchat Chat section.

Ticketmaster Mini will match users with events or music concerts they may be interested in based on their preferences.

Once users find an event that suits them, they can simply tap to invite others to join via a sticker embedded in the Snapchat Camera.

This feature also includes a way to purchase tickets through the app with an easy-to-use checkout process. With Ticketmaster's selection of events, users are sure to find an interesting event.

With Ticketmaster Mini, users will be asked to fill out a short survey to gauge their interest. The app will then show suggested upcoming events based on user preferences.

Users also have the option to upload the event to their Stories to see if others are interested in joining, as reported by TechCrunch, Thursday, February 17.

The new Ticketmaster Mini is launching in 21 countries, including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and America United (USA).
