Ketar-ketir! Binomo Immediately Change Name In App Store

JAKARTA - After being reported by eight people to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police, the Binomo application in Apple's online store, the App Store, is known to have changed its name a long time ago.

Previously, the gambling application under the guise of trading was thought to have disappeared from the App Store, in fact it only changed its name from Binomo to Stock Broker while still using the same logo.

This name change event was first noticed by Twitter user @erlanggacor. In his upload, he explained that the application had changed its name, "Binomo changed their name again WKWKWKW ketar ketir them," tweeted @erlanggacor.

From VOI's monitoring, @erlanggacor's tweet was uploaded on January 26, most likely after committing fraud, Binomo immediately changed the name of the application. Likewise in the Play Store, the application is no longer found there.

When trying to switch to the https://binomo.com/ website, that site is also inaccessible. However, when VOI tries to visit https://binomo-web.com/ the site is still accessible.

The Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency (CoFTRA) has also blocked 1,222 illegal commodity futures trading websites and gambling games under the guise of trading.

Of these thousands of websites, there are 92 binary options domains that are blocked, such as Binomo, IQ Option, Olymptrade, Quotex and similar platforms.

Not only that, CoFTRA also blocked 336 trading robots, such as Net89 or SmartX, Auto Trade Gold, Viral Blast, Raibot Look, DNA Pro, EA 50, Sparta, Fin888, Fsp Akademi Pro and others.

In a report to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police published by VOI, there were eight victims who suffered losses of hundreds of millions each. If the total loss reached Rp. 2.4 billion.

However, the amount of this loss is likely to grow. Given, the number of victims is also quite a lot.

"There are only eight people, of which hundreds of others will enter our database later during the investigation process and we will inform you," said the lawyer for the complainant, Finsensius Mendorfa to reporters, Friday, February 4.
