CILACAP - The Cilacap Police Criminal Investigation Unit, less than 7 hours after receiving the report, has succeeded in arresting the perpetrator of the murder of a domestic assistant (ART) at her employer's house on Jalan Jenderal Soedirman, Kelurahan Tegalreja, Central Cilacap.

Head of Public Relations, Iptu Gatot Tri Hartanto, explained that after the police investigated the crime scene (TKP), examined witnesses, and saw the results of the autopsy on victim J, the officers already knew who the alleged perpetrator was.

It didn't take long for the officers to arrest the man with the initial S at his home in Gumelar Village, Tambak, Banyumas Regency. It is known that S is an employee who also works in the same place as the victim.

From the results of the examination, the suspect, S, admitted that he had killed victim J alone by hitting the victim's head with the back of a machete until the victim was unconscious. Then the victim was slit with the machete. The police have secured a machete as evidence of the crime.

Based on a written statement received by the editor, Monday, August 8, the perpetrator did this because he was hurt by the victim. One time, when the perpetrator had no money, he was asked to take the victim back to Banjarnegara. Moreover, at that time the perpetrator was also not allowed to return to the warehouse on Jalan Rinjani owned by his employer, so he was rained on and slept in the garage.

Until now, the perpetrator S is still under investigation at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cilacap Police. For his actions, the suspect is suspected of being under Article 338 of the Criminal Code with a maximum imprisonment of 15 years.

It was previously reported that on Sunday, August 7, at around 05.45 WIB, the body of a woman covered in blood was found in the house. The victim is a household member who lives at her employer's house on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Tegalreja Village, Central Cilacap.

The discovery was first known by the witness FHR (Child of the Home Owner) and the incident was reported to the Police. The victim suffered several injuries, one of which was a slit in the neck.
