Waskita Beton Optimistic To Achieve IKN Development Project Of IDR 427 Billion This Year

JAKARTA PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk. is targeting to win the Nusantara State Capital (IKN) development contract for hundreds of billions this year. This was conveyed by Waskita Beton Operations Director Sugiharto.

According to him, the company is targeting an increase in the value of the IKN contract, from the previous Rp230 billion in the last agreement.

"We are targeting that in 2023 we can obtain a contract value of IDR 427 billion," he said in a press statement today on Friday, April 7.

According to Sugiharto, the acquisition of the project from IKN is certainly a breath of fresh air for the issuer coded WSBP shares. The reason is, IKN is a very good opportunity because it has the opportunity to absorb the needs that become the company's core business.

"Especially with the obligation to use domestic products, from the market share is wide open for IKN development. WSBP will synergize with Waskita Group and enter the external market in collaboration with the private sector, other SOEs, and the government," he said.

For information, Waskita Beton has started supplying its first product for the IKN project since the end of January 2023.

Meanwhile, the facilities being worked on are the Presidential Secretariat Building and Supporting Buildings for the Presidential Palace of the Republic of Indonesia and the construction of working/logistical roads with the latest progress of still 9 percent.

"We are targeting to be able to secure new contracts from projects at IKN, in particular focusing on tendering infrastructure projects and buildings," concluded Sugiharto.
