CIANJUR - Regency Government (Pemkab) Cianjur, West Java, confirmed 200 residents of the relocation house for victims of the Cianjur earthquake in Sirnagonalih Village, Cilaku District, were able to fill their homes this week after being constrained by a delay in key submission from the Ministry of PUPR.Assistant Region (Asda) II for the Economy and Development Division of the Cianjur Regional Government, Budhi Rahayu Toyib said the key to the relocation house in Sirnagih Village, had only been handed over by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), Monday. This week the handover will be made directly to 200 relocation house recipients who have been registered and get a house according to the number that has been given, so they just fill their respective homes. As for the lack of clean water connections for relocation housing, said Budhi, the local government will supply clean water using a tank car for a while waiting for the installation of a new subscription connection by the Regional Drinking Water Company (Perumdam).. "The Regent of Cianjur Herman Suherman has asked the Director of Perumdam Cianjur to check the needs for pipe connections in relocation housing, including the need for residents' clean water to be supplied with water tanks for a while," he said.

For the installation of new subscription connection pipes, added Budhi, the costs will be borne by the Low-Income Community Program (MBR) in Perumdam so that residents will not be charged at all. "The plan for Mande's relocation house in Mande District will use ground water which will later be managed by the local Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) because the ground water is good, just to withdraw it using a pump. The plan for Mande's Relocation, it can be inhabited in March as well," he said.
