Hyundai Targets Staria EV To Start Produced In 2025, Accelerate Green Vehicle Innovation

Hyundai Motors continues to accelerate its ambition in the environmentally friendly vehicle segment. The proof is that this brand one will start production of the Staria EV Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) at the Ulsan Factory in 2025.

Quoting from Thekoreancarblog page, Monday, December 30, later this stun MPV will be produced on line one of the four Ulsan factories, with preparations starting in January.

Staria EV production is part of a South Korean brand-based strategy to expand its electric vehicle lineup to 21 models by 2030. This effort is also in line with the company's medium and long-term goals to achieve this goal.

Hyundai's acceleration towards the production of electric vehicles is also driven by increasingly strict environmental policies, especially in Europe where exhaustless vehicles are a necessity for urban operations.

MPV, which was first launched in 2021 as the successor to Starex, is claimed to have become a multipurpose and very functional vehicle in the country of origin. For Indonesia itself, this one model has been sold and priced at IDR 924 million.

Considering that he was already present in Indonesia, when he officially entered production for the BEV model, it was certainly possible to be present in Indonesia, considering that currently the development of electrification in the country is quite advanced.

Not only Staria EV, at the Ulsan Hyundai Factory, also plans to start production of the third generation of the Palisade in the same year. In fact, the model is designed for the domestic market and exports, which reflects the manufacturer's commitment to the sloping H logo to deliver high-quality vehicles globally.
