Zeekr Prints 400.000 Unit Production Record, Zeekr Mix Becomes The Main Star

JAKARTA The premium car brand from China, Zeekr, has again recorded an important milestone. In a short time, just 37 months since its inaugural launch, Zeekr has succeeded in producing 400,000 units of vehicles. This achievement makes Zeekr one of the most aggressive players in the global automotive industry.

According to a CarNewsChina report, Monday, December 9, the 400.000th unit out of the production line is the Zeekr Mix model. This innovative electric minivan is produced at the Chunxiao plant, one of the three main facilities supporting Zeekr reaching high production volume.

Zeekr is part of the Geely Group, founded in 2021 as a high-end vehicle brand. Currently, Zeekr has six vehicle models in its portfolio. To meet ever-increasing market demand, Zeekr operates three factories in China, namely the Zeekr factory in Hangzhou Bay, Geely factory in Chengdu, and Geely factory in Chunxiao.

The Chunxiao factory, which was built in 2014, has an annual production capacity of 200,000 units. In addition to assembling Zeekr Mix, this facility also produces other vehicles such as Geely Borui sedans and Geely Atlas crossovers.

Zeekr Mix itself is the first pure electric car assembled at the Chunxiao factory. The vehicle is designed as a modern minivan with high-level innovations, including the world's highest cabin space efficiency of 93 percent. Three sliding doors that allow easy access with entrance widths of up to 1,480 mm, and a wide cabin with a convenient five-seat configuration for family or business trips.

Not only innovative, but Zeekr Mix also targets the premium market. The selling price ranges from 279,900 yuan to 299,900 yuan (around Rp610653 million).
