JAKARTA - leading battery technology company Desten Inc announced the launch of the latest cell technology advances, Ultra Fast Filling, LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) cell.

The latest bag-shaped battery cell from Desten is capable of charging SOCs from 20 to 80 percent in 6 minutes. Thanks to LFP-based chemicals, these cells have impressive chemical and temperature stability profiles, making them the safest battery technology available today.

"Our latest technological breakthrough has the potential to revolutionize transportation and energy storage applications," said Bader Al-Rezaihan, CEO of Deten Inc., quoted from Desten's official website, Monday, November 20.

The company claims that LFP Desten cells are ready to change the face of electrical mobility and energy storage, reduce charging time for electric vehicles and allow power grids to access short-term storage at low cost per kWh, as well as increased safety.

The LFP Innovation of Ultra-Fast Charging reflects the capabilities of Litbang Desten, which utilizes established expertise in the development of Ultra-Fast Charging NMC cells, and the application of specially created material platforms, cell structuring techniques, and the patented cell production process.

Desten itself has collaborated with various partners of North America, Europe and Asia to integrate this progress on the EV platform, with the first sample available to OEM partners.

"By making the cost of ultra-fast charging competitive through the Iron-Fosfat material format, we will solve the main problem of inhibiting adoption for electric vehicle drivers, and provide the power capacity the network needs to replace fast-growing fossil fuel generation sources with confidence," he explained.

It is known that Desten is not the only company competing to get the world's attention in terms of battery technology. For example, the StoreDot already has a advanced OEM testing program with an encouraging first result, not only that CATL also provides fast range and charging.
