India Releases Many Quiet Together To Open Ramadan

JAKARTA - Welcoming the month of Ramadan, musician Baskara Putra or known as Hindia released his newest single song entitled Ramai Sepi Bersama. This song is a follow-up to the first album Menari with Shadow which was released at the end of 2019.

Ramai Sepi Bersama is a pop track with a distinctive style of Indian songs. The music and lyrics were composed with Rayhan Noor, the accompanying guitarist. Simple lyrics are used to convey the music to fans.

This song is an expression of the heart of an Indian in the midst of this uncertain situation. "When everything is unclear the direction / We only have together / Pass the steep world / This lonely crowd belongs together" is a chorus that describes the care for each other in the midst of this difficult condition.

Rayhan and Baskara worked on this song separately from beginning to end due to the COVID-19 pandemic which is currently still endemic. "All that count training, production, and songwriting," Baskara said in a written statement received by VOI, Friday, April 24.

Being a musician, Baskara used songs as small tokens for friends who were undergoing quarantine and made Ramadan this time different from previous years. "This quarantine has its own challenges as well, but I am grateful to have people closest to each other who care about each other and want to listen to each other," he said.

At a time like this, the vocalist of .Feast also did several things so that he would not be mentally disturbed, one of which was by reducing activities on social media and reading other people's comments to avoid stress. In addition, Baskara also began studying music again to broaden his horizons, be it guitar, piano, or vocal practice.

After releasing Ramai Sepi Bersama, Hindia also became a collaborator for the RAN group for the song Si Lemah. Both of Indies' latest releases can be listened to via digital music streaming services.
