Jackson Lundy's Uniquey Keen Album, Genres Many To Nostalgic

JAKARTA - Singer and producer, Jackson Lundy finally released his first album titled 'PEACHY TEN'. This album presents a nostalgic feel through a combination of various genres of pop, R&B, soul, rock, and country music.

With a wider range of sound, the album embraces elements of Americana, country, and grunge music with warmth.

"In the past, I have made conceptual projects, but this time I see this album as an opportunity to combine all the types of music I like in one big work," Jackson said in a written broadcast received by VOI, December 13.

"I'm trying to give something that's mixed this time. Although the production is very rich, I don't forget to give space for everything to feel intimate too," he added.

Expressing feelings frankly without a filter on writing is at the heart of Jackson's musical work, and PEACHY KEY rooted in a sense of authenticity as well as the element of nostalgia. Jackson compiled this album with songs from his personal archives over the past ten years, creating a collection that combines the musical style he loved as a child in a modern context.

The album also features collaborations with Korean-American singers Sarah Kang, Charlesriad, and Claudia Abena, as well as produced by Nick Smith (emei, GOVAN, SMLE, Maritime Affairs Rossi), Kevin Farzad (Valley Boy, Outside Air), and Dylan04s.

"I want to show the type of music I listen to when I grow up, as well as a form of my gratitude to all the people who inspired me to this day," Jackson explained. "There is some influence on this album that is rarely heard again now, so it's great fun to bring it back to the listeners' ears. There is a bit of a long time, bossa, neo Soul, touch of country, and even a little feel of the song from Pixar's fillm."

The release of this album follows the release of the previous single 'runnin', a song he collaborated with Sarah Kang. The album is also accompanied by his main single titled work friends', a song inspired by Jackson's personal experience while working in a restaurant kitchen, where he I created a fantasy to pass the time, which later became the core of the song.

"I wrote work friends based on my own experience working in a restaurant kitchen, creating fantasy about deep feelings for someone who works in the same place as me, but already has a partner," Jackson explained.

"There is a sense of helplessness because I see that person every day with other people, while I'm here just washing dishes," he concluded.
