Robert Smith Leaks Two New Albums Of The Cure That Have Been Prepared

JAKARTA - The Cure achieved success through the release of 'Songs of a Lost World', the first studio album since 16 years ago. Sales of his physical album even became the best-selling in the United States last November.

Amid the success of the 14th studio album, Robert Smith (vocals, guitar) leaked that The Cure was ready to introduce another new album.

In a recent interview with Danielle Perry from Absolute Radio, which was uploaded to her Instagram account, Smith said the new album would be a continuation of 'Songs of a Lost World'.

"There is another album that is almost ready to be released. It's kind of a companion work," Smith said.

Furthermore, Smith even mentioned that there is another album, which is the third album since The Cure's comeback this year.

"Then there's the third work that's completely different. It's really a random work, like late-night studio work. But some of them are really good, it's just very different," he said.

The 65-year-old musician also talked about the link between 'Songs of a Lost World' and the upcoming album.

"This 'Songs of a Lost World' album is a very emotional work, and the companion's work is not too dark, but explores other subjects a little more," Smith said.

The third is actually very strange. I haven't finished the lyrics yet because my mind is more focused on the performance of these songs," he added.

Not without reason when Smith leaked two new albums to come. He wants the success of the album 'Songs of a Lost World' to continue.

"I don't want this album to end, because this album is very good. The reaction to this new music is very, very great. It's great to feel that people give us all love," he concluded.
