Indonesia's Involvement In The One Asia Music Project Presenting The Song Shooting All The Love

JAKARTA - Several Asian musicians collaborated on a One Asia music project. The project was carried out to commemorate the celebration of Asian Games's 110th anniversary, and was premiered live at the last Asian Games event in Hangzhou, China.

Indonesia has a big role in One Asia. One of the Indonesian musicians, Joshua Matulessy alias JFlow, was appointed as a record producer.

JFlow is also the songwriter for anthem entitled Lending All The Love, which is the result of One Asia's collaboration.

The composition of the music was made by combining eight different languages to create a harmonious message from Asia for the rest of the world.

Not only that, Ubud, who is located in Gianyar, Bali, was also chosen as the place where musicians met to conduct recording sessions and make video clips.

"Actually, Ubud was chosen not to shoot a music video, but to a creative camp where all musicians and singers involved in One Asia were able to meet for the first time in person," said JFlow when contacted by VOI last week.

Ubud was chosen because of Villa Swarapadi's studio facilities with world standards and Ubud privileges as a magical area, ethnically and internationally nuanced. This allows us to show Indonesian hospitality and special services to our Asian brothers and sisters," he continued.

The 38-year-old musician also shared how difficult it was to accommodate all the ethnic instruments presented, considering that each instrument has a different tone and tone ladder from each other.

"Unification of various traditional instruments does have its own difficulties. After in-depth research, we tried to compile the composition of the instruments involved and determine the basic tone departing from the instrument with the most limited range of the tone," said JFlow.

For the work that has been done, JFlow hopes that the song "Sending All The Love" can be a song played in various Asian countries.

"Everyone involved in this song has truly devoted all his heart and given his best. It would be very proud if this song was trusted to be shown at the Asian event in the future," he said.

For information, several singers involved in the One Asia music project are Jannine Weigel from Thailand, Hiroaki Kato from Japan, and Eliap Lahoud from Lebanon.

Meanwhile, the musical instruments presented were Oud from Kuwait, Erhu from China, Zybzgy from Kazakhstan, Tabla from India, and Tifa and Totobuang from Indonesia.
