JAKARTA - The Jakarta Malay Festival (JMF) 2023 was again held at the Beach City International Stadium, Ancol, North Jakarta by presenting a number of well-known dangdut musicians ranging from Cici Faramida to Ikke Nurjannah.

The Malay music event, which has been entertaining the public for 11 years, now carries the theme "Tabea Guru" as a form of respect for teachers in the country.

"Kali ini kita ingin berterima kasih kepada guru yang telah menjadi garda terpanjang dalam keadaan, guru adalah orang kedua setelah orang tua untuk membentuk manusia," kata Produser Pelaksana JMF 2023, Geisz Chalifah, dikutip dari Antara, Senin.

"Recovering teachers is an amicability that is a basic lesson of life ethics," he added.

As a form of respect for teachers, Geisz said he would also provide a number of free entrance tickets for special concerts for teachers so that they can enjoy the treats held on August 26.

"We also plan to give free tickets to teachers," he explained.

On the same occasion, Cici Faramida said she couldn't wait to appear to entertain the community with her old friends in the dangdut music world who will also appear on stage, namely Ikke Nurjanah to Iyeth Bustami.

Apart from Cici Faramida and Iis Dahlia, the JMF 2023 stage will also be enlivened by melodious chanting from other well-known stars, namely Erie Suzan, Iis Dahlia, Ikke Nurjanah, Iyeth Bustami, and Caca Handika.

"Music melayu is not just a cultural performance but much deeper and many social missions through this festival, plus extraordinary joy I can have one more stage with my old brothers (old friends) later," said Cici.

The JMF 2023 concept this time also again invites the audience to remember popular songs in the 90s that were familiar to the Indonesian people, such as Ike Nurjanah's Terlena, Wulan Merindu from Cici Faramida, Satu' from Casca Handika, Left behind by lover lis Dahlia, to Sabda Cinta by lyeth Bustami ft Erie Suzan.
