JAKARTA - Richie Sambora has rejected talks about a possible reunion with Bon Jovi.

The guitarist explained that he had not been approached by anyone to rejoin the band singer of the Bed Of Roses.

United Stations Radio Networks met with Richie at the 52nd annual induction of the Songwriters Hall Of Fame and the award gala on Thursday, June 15 in New York City.

Asked if there are still plans for him to reunite with Bon Jovi, this is Richie's answer.

"No, not even close. No one has asked me yet - but I can do it tomorrow if they ask me," Rolling responded.

Last February, Richie described a different picture of the possibility of returning to Bon Jovi.

He told Absolute Radio that there are plans to join Bon Jovi again after they feature together at the induction of the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2018.

"We were talking about it," he said at the time. "I don't think there's any reason not to do it at this point."

"Jon [Bon Jovi] is having a bit of trouble with his voice and he needs a little rest," he added.

Richie is a guitarist for Bon Jovi from 1983 to 2013. He contributed to the birth of iconic albums such as Bon Jovi (1984), 7800 deg Fahrenheit (1985), Slippery When Wet (1986), New Jersey (1988), Keep the Faith (1992), These Days (1995), Crush (2000), Bounce (2002), Have a Nice Day (2005), Lost Highway (2007), The Circle (2009), and What About Now (2013).
